timel-ss watches

A project done this past spring. Hopefully I can get the photos up soon this summer šŸ˜‰ Here’s a sneak peak of the project~

Doodling lettering for today.Picture 1

My BFA show has finally been installed and the reception was a huge success!

This was definitely a huge project and literal blood, sweat, and tears went into it (no, really.) I’m so happy that it turned out looking pretty much exactly like my mock-upsĀ I had made earlier this year.

Thanks to all who helped me actualizing the piece and offering their hard work and labor. I wouldn’t have been able to complete it without you.

Basic CMYK

EntitledĀ Half & Half (A Search)Ā this piece deals with the search and understanding of my self-identity through growing up as a twin. This tackles issues regarding individuality, dependence/independence and self-worth.

All that’s left is taking it down (probably a more insane journey waiting to happen).

Hey everyone!

Today I’m just posting some of the stuff that don’t get to have much online publicity (mainly because they are not within the realm of graphic design). I do delve into many other types of art, so I thought it’d be fun to show you guys some things that I do other than graphic art Ā šŸ™‚

These are a photo series that I actually got really into and might want to continue, solely because it looks so strange and intriguing (I don’t have a name for the series yet).

The subjects are my siblings (and I still have a few more!). I like how its a pretty simple, yet complex look. It kind of has this dreamy lighting and colors…

Another photo that I took:

Also, I took a look at my last blog post before I went MIA and I finished the book with those snapshots. If you want to check it and along with my other work, I’ll link it Here.

And one more thing! I have an interview tomorrow for an internship! I hope it turns out well (I mean, it HAS to if he contacted me first, right? Here’s to hoping!)

I hope everyone is doing well,

Till then!

So I do realize that I have been on an extremely long hiatus, but I think its time to get back into the blogging scene. There’s always so much creativity to share with you guys! So I’ll start back with something really cute and visually stunning as well.

I literally just watched this animated short (my sister showed me the llink) and I can’t believe this is the first time seeing this! Expect to hear more from me and I hope your days are all bright and sunny! (It isn’t here, its dark and rainy today).

Just Because….

This is make-up packaging that can stack in a slick modern fashion.

This was just too cute NOT to put in. More tea [bag] packagingĀ  =]

More tea. I love tea, and I think designing packaging for it allows for a lot of possibilities and creative solutions such as these.

And a neat little logo/design/packaging (I know, too many slashes) by Andreu Zaragoza:

“Herokidā„¢ is a clothing brand created by Robert Roman (Registred Kid). The main reference for this brand and the people who compose it, is the culture of skateboarding and street art from the streets of Barcelona.

The concept for this package was to create a box that can be a T-shirt package and also a decorative and promotional element. The Herokid logo served as inspiration to design a package in corrugated carton that needs no adhesive for assembling.”

This reminds me of my box project I should be working on. Box project. Need to start working on. Need an idea. Inspiration. Sigh.

If anyone has a fantastic idea or thoughts about the word “box” or the concept of a box, leave a comment. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
